Get your laugh-on with Darcy Michael who we just showcased on our most recent episode of BC BuzZ as he makes’em laugh at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival (the Jason Priestley roofie joke had us in stitches!).

BC BuzZ went on a comedic adventure with funny man Darcy Michael and what a ride it was!!  For the many that have seen what Darcy Michael can do on stage, you know what we are talking about, but for the ones that haven’t had a taste, make sure to watch the video, then get your butts down to a local laugh joint and experience one of British Columbia’s best comics!

This past Saturday was a great day in the life of BC BuzZ.  We got to spend it with an amazing up & coming musician that has the voice of an angel, the songwriting skills of a veteran and the personality that is infectious.  Than we funny’d it up with one of Canada’s most hilarious and original comics that has made a name for himself locally and nationally.  Stef Lang & Darcy Michael.  A big thanks to Brittany Willacy for the photographs and the Pan Pacific Hotel for giving us a spot to shoot.  Will have these video interviews up as soon as possible, but until then check out there sites: www.steflang.ca & www.darcymichael.com.

YVR get ready, because in less than two weeks is the one and only Queer Arts Festival, a 3 week extravaganza celebrating queer arts & artists.  Starting on July 26 and running till August 13, Vancouver will have a buffet of cutting-edge performances and workshops from all artistic disciplines including music, dance, theatre, literary and media arts.  A handful of those and more can be seen all in one night titled “The Gayest Show On Earth” hosted by funnyman and one my faves DARCY MICHAEL.  If the above disciplines weren’t enough, Darcy will be adding drag, sketch, improv and more to his stand-up routine.  This year is part deux and is expected to be as he says “even gayer than last year”.  Added to the show this year is a great mix of local talent including: Symone, Peter Breeze, Armstrong Jr, Ryan Steele, Amy Gee, Tops & Bottoms Improv and more.  Next week BC BuzZ will hook up with Darcy to bring you a “day in a life” with the successful stand-up comic.
