The Magic Christmas at Butchart Gardens
Well considering we are doing the 12 Days of Christmas BuzZ we might as well celebrate a spot in BC that actually has the 12 Days of Christmas all in one festive spot! Tis the 25th year that Butchart Gardens has hosted their annual Magic Christmas and this year is better then ever. From the 12 Days of Xmas tucked away in the gardens to caroling to tens of thousands of lights to ice skating and more, much more this is one holiday feast for the family. From now until January 2nd take a trip to Victoria and enjoy one of BC ‘s best!

Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge
With over a Zillion (yes thats quoted straight from their website) lights….ok maybe not that many, more like 250,000……this yearly tradition is bound to get your blood rushing while standing 230 feet above the Capilano River. This world class tourist attraction spreads the holiday cheer from now until January 1st with seasonal music, gingerbread cookie decorating, glass blowing and of course the splendor of hundreds of thousands of lights all throughout the park. Proceeds from admission will go towards the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund.

VanDusen Botanical Garden “Festival of Lights”
If you havent gotten into the Christmas spirit yet, best to take a quick drive with the family to Vancouver’s VanDusen Garden for what is sure to get you in the mood! Open from Dec 9 - Jan 2 (4:30pm - 9pm), the Festival of Lights has everything and more for the Christmas season including: Dancing Lights, a Candy Cane Lane & Model Train, Community Choir singing your favorite holiday songs, seasonal chow to keep your tummy full and of course old St. Nick & his elves! Make sure to stop by the Candle Shrine to donate to the Make A Wish Foundation and make your own wish for this holiday season.
