Recently BC BuzZ got to hit the road and venture to the Thompson Okanagan and into the Loop, Kamloops that is. Enjoying everything from a successful film festival (KFF) to eating and drinking good at great spots like Felix on 5th and The Noble Pig as well as hitting up one of our fave spots in town and kicking it back with the locals at The Art We Are! Totally BuzZ’d every time we head into Kamloops as the one spot that mixes art, music and really good natural food is always open for business with open arms. BC BuzZ: Talent Time’s Paul Anthony
You may turn on the telly tonight and see such talent shows as American Idle, The Voice, X-Factor or Canada’s Got Talent, all of which showcase one talent or another….sometimes no talent. But nothing can hold a candle to BC’s best talent show that has been going strong for 4 years, Paul Anthony’s Talent Time! Hosted by Vancouver’s Paul Anthony the show is held at Biltmore Cabaret once a month and showcases the best in local talent sprinkled with some national & international entertainers, comics & more! BC BuzZ got the chance to sit down with our Border-Town buddy Scott Patey. Originally from Lloydminster Alberta/Saskatchewan, this fresh face in comedy is a relatively new transplant to British Columbia and lighting up the stages weekly in Vancouver with some of BC’s best comics. From film & tv to local comedy clubs, Scott is a one-of-a-kind artist that is making a name for himself and getting laughs on a regular basis where he performs!

BC BuzZ got to sit down the other day with Paul Runnals (exec. producer) & Allan Regan (creative director) of LIVE AT SQUAMISH for a little pre-fest chit chat. With less than 2 weeks to go, the organizers are finishing up the last touches of what’s sure to be a fantastic time in the outdoor recreation capital of Canada! This year’s show (last year was the inaugural fest) has everything from camping to slip n slides to a vendor’s market, silent disco, secret stages, surprise performances, Weezer, Metric, Major Lazer & More…..WAY MORE!
