Normally I have to have a proverbial gun to my head to send out these sanctimonious bullshit ridden notes…and this time is no different.
Regardless, I can’t say anything but great things about Aaron Alexander and BC Buzz! Well mainly because if I did, he wouldn’t print any of this.
For reals for a second though, I think the idea of celebrating all the amazing things BC has to offer including the awesome array of talent is a great idea and long overdue. Thanks for the love Buzz, can’t wait to swear at you again in the future! Darcy Michael

Aaron Alexander has created a unique, fabulous, fun way to introduce us to artists in all disciplines around B.C. Watching B.C. Buzz I’ve become acquainted with and intrigued by artists whos work I wasn’t yet familiar with, but who I will certainly seek to know more of now. Aaron’s enthusiasm, interest and respect for the arts in B.C., his generosity in devoting such thought, care and effort to highlighting individual artists, is very special. I love BC Buzz!

Aaron Alexander has a great thing going with BC Buzz. Already a great asset to our city’s arts scene, Aaron’s coverage of arts events is another vital online presence for our city’s arts and culture scene. He’s generous with his time and truly cares about grassroots projects. In interviewing me on behalf of our theatre company, the interview was very relaxed but pointed and he edited together a fantastic five minute segment that captures the best points of the interview. In an era of funding cutbacks and a less than vibrant economy, coverage and promotion such as what BC Buzz provides is vital to the health of our city’s cultural spirit.
